Vote counting is currently underway for the assembly elections in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir. In Haryana, where the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is striving for a third consecutive term, early trends reveal the BJP leading in 50 out of the 90 seats. Meanwhile, the Congress is ahead in 34 constituencies. In contrast, various exit polls have forecasted a decisive victory for the Congress in the state.
